Fox Cities Chamber: Fox Cares Foundation Asks For Local Donations

APPLETON, Wis. - The Fox Cares Foundation, a fundraising initiative that addresses ending homelessness, fighting hunger, and providing access to the arts to form a physically and emotionally healthy community, asks the public to support the foundation in helping people throughout Northeast Wisconsin discover the security of a warm home, the stability of a warm meal, and the freedom to share the warmth in their hearts through art.

Established in 2016, Fox Cares Foundation was created to grant funds to non-profit organizations throughout the communities served by Fox Communities Credit Union. Since its inception, Fox Cares has granted over $170,000 to area non-profits. Among those impacted are Feeding America, St John’s Homeless Shelter, St Joe’s Food Program, Harbor House Domestic Abuse Program, Golden House, Fox Valley Chorus, and Art Garage.

The foundation is a platform for advocacy and an outlet for members and the community to support organizations throughout Northeast Wisconsin.

With a plan to match up to the first $25,000 donated from July 13-August 13, the Fox Cares Foundation is setting a goal of raising $50,000 towards the cause. Donations will help to ensure that future grants can be awarded to strengthen communities and expand its support of events like Mile of Music and Bike to the Beat.
