Fox Cities Chamber: Three New Members Appointed To Fox Valley Technical College Board Of Trustees
Margaret Kastner, Rehabilitation Specialist with Community Care, Inc., was appointed to the board and will fill the Employee category.

Appleton, WI – This spring the Fox Valley Technical College District Board Appointment Committee selected three new board members and reappointed one current member (from a field of five applicants) to fill upcoming openings on the FVTC District Board of Trustees. The Appointment Committee is comprised of the school board presidents from the 28 K-12 public school districts in FVTC’s service area.

Chris VanderHeyden, School District Administrator of the Menasha Joint School District was
reappointed to another 3-year term. He will fill the School District Administrator category.
Javad Ahmad, Chief Operating Officer and President of Smart IS International, an IT consulting firm, was appointed to the board and will fill the Employer category.
Margaret Kastner, Rehabilitation Specialist with Community Care, Inc., was appointed to the board and will fill the Employee category.

Erik Lampe, Vice President of Strategy and Integration at Oshkosh Corporation, was appointed to the board and will fill the Employer category.
All three new members took office in July. Trustees Stephen Kohler and Dawn Rosicky concluded their service to the Board in June.
Fox Valley Technical College is governed by a nine-member board of trustees comprised of two employers, two employees, three additional (at-large) members, a school district administrator and an elected official. Each year, the terms for three board posts expire.
