'100% CBD Infused' Gummies Found on Store Shelves; Statewide Alert Issued
Gummy candies that claim to be 100% CBD Infused were found for sale at a Wisconsin gas station. May be sold elsewhere. It's against the law.
WISCONSIN -- A statewide alert has been issued in Wisconsin after authorities in Oshkosh discovered that a product called "Chill Gummies" were being sold on the shelves of a local gas station.
"Chill Gummies" drew the attention of law enforcement because the product claims to be 100 percent CBD infused.
Under Wisconsin law, a product that contains CBD must be dispensed from a pharmacist or physician to a person that has certification to possess the cannabidiol to treat a medical condition.

According to media reports out of Milwaukee, the alert was sent statewide because it is not known how many stores in the state do not know about the new law and the proper disbursement of the cannabidiol oil.
