BROOKFIELD, WI — The Fourth of July is the perfect time to gather with friends and family to enjoy our nation's independence and continued freedoms. Here is your guide to Brookfield's 2017 Fourth of July parade, including parking, parade route and timing. Included also in this guide is information for Brookfield's family festival and fireworks celebrations.
Parade
The Parade begins at 10:00 AM, on July 4th, 2017.
The parade begins at Brookfield Central High School near the intersection of Gebhardt Road and travels west on Gebhardt, before traveling North on Calhoun Road.
The parade then travels West on North Avenue before Turning South on Norhardt Drive, where it ends at its intersection with Civic Drive.

Parking Guide
BAND BUSES:
Buses please park in the West parking lot of St. John Vianney Parish; located on Norhardt Drive near Gebhardt Road. * Band Groups - Please give these directions to the bus driver with a copy of the enclosed map.

PARADE PARTICIPANTS:
Parking is available at City Hall, Library, Safety Building, and St. John Vianney Church lots. Additional parking is also available in the overflow lot north of the BCHS football field and south of North Avenue (accessible from the Parade Staging Area and North Avenue) or at the Ruby Isle Shopping Center or Post Office.
PARENTS AND SPECTATORS:
Are encouraged to park in the overflow lot accessible from North Avenue just east of Calhoun Road.
Ice Cream Social
The annual city-wide Ice Cream Social will take place on the Civic Plaza immediately following the parade. There will be a flag raising ceremony and other entertainment.
Family Fest
Family Fest is in full swing at Mitchell Park from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. This annual pre-fireworks event features family-oriented games and activities, huge bouncing inflatables, free face painting, stilt walkers, a variety of food, and entertainment. Special features on the Children’s Stage include “Glen Gerard "Magic Productions” and “The Truly Remarkable Loon- A Comedy Juggling Show”. “Our House” Band will be back with great entertainment on the Pavilion main stage. Come on out to the park earlier and find parking, have a picnic, enjoy the activities and entertainment, and stay for the fireworks extravaganza. THERE IS NO RAIN DATE FOR FAMILY FEST.
Fireworks
The annual fireworks display will begin at approximately 9:17 PM on July 4, 2017 at Mitchell Park. Arriving early for the best parking opportunities is strongly encouraged.
