Police Identify 3 Men Killed In Wisconsin Dells Crash
Police say the men were riding in an SUV when it failed to yield at a stop sign.

WISCONSIN DELLS, WI -- Three Illinois men are dead after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday in the Wisconsin Dells area, Wisconsin authorities say.
The three occupants of the Toyota, all from Illinois, died at the scene, according to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.
The men were identified as Kazimierz J. Kenar, 62, of Wauconda; and Paul J. Kenar, 39, and Andrzej Marczyk, 48, both of Harwood Heights.

Police said the driver of the pickup, a 33-year-old woman, was flown to UW Hospital, and her passenger, a 33-year-old man, was taken to St. Clare Hospital.
According to the Columbia County Sheriffβs Office, deputies responded to the intersection of Highway 127 and Highway O in the town of Newport just after 6 p.m. Saturday. This location is just south and east of the City of Wisconsin Dells.

A preliminary investigation by the local sheriff's office revealed that the driver of a 2005 Toyota 4-Runner was headed north on Highway O when he appeared to fail to yield right-of-way at the stop sign for cross-traffic at Highway 127. Authorities say the driver of a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado was headed west on Highway 127 and collided with the Toyota.
Authorities say the Toyota was occupied by three men from Illinois. All three men were pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet was a 33-year-old woman who was transported by Medflight to the University of Wisconsin Hospital. A 33-year-old man who was a passenger was transported to St. Clare Hospital by the Wisconsin Dells Emergency Response unit.
Columbia County Sheriff's officials are reporting that seat belts were not worn by any of the Toyota occupants, however, both occupants of the Chevrolet were restrained. The intersection was closed for the investigation and remains closed while a utility pole was repaired.
Columbia County Sheriffβs officials say they're continuing to investigate whether drug or alcohol use were factors in the crash. Names of all occupants are being withheld pending notification of family.
