First Hospitality Group, Inc.'s New Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Downtown Hotel Hosts Charitable Event for FUEL Milwaukee
Rosemont, Ill.-based First Hospitality Group, Inc.'s (FHG) new 127-room Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Downtown hotel, formerly The Loyalty Building, hosted a charitable event with FUEL Milwaukee, an economic development initiative of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, to benefit MargaretAnn's Place, a local nonprofit assisting grieving children and teens, on Dec.12, 2012. First Hospitality Group, Inc. President and COO Robert Habeeb made the announcement.
FUEL Milwaukee members attended the group's "Purely Social" event, where attendees donated toys to benefit MargaretAnn's Place. Guests were offered guided tours of the historic hotel, including the lobby, guestrooms, meeting spaces and the atrium. This event was the hotel's second charity event since its opening on Nov. 13.
"Being part of a community is more than having a physical location ¾ it is about finding opportunities to become involved and give back," said Habeeb. "Our management team at the Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Downtown hotel is focused on doing just that and this event was an example of their commitment to meeting and working with members of the local community."
