Azura Memory Care Building Would House 80; Public Hearing Planned
An existing barn will be retained and used for site maintenance and garden equipment, city officials say.

BROOKFIELD, WI -- City officials in Brookfield are holding a public hearing later this month to hear citizen input on a proposed assisted living facility planned for the 16000 block of W. Capitol Drive.
According to the City of Brookfield, members of the Plan Commission are holding a public hearing on Sep. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Brookfield City Hall prior to considering approval of a conditional use permit for an 80-resident memory care/assisted living project at 16030 W. Capitol Drive.
Azura Memory Care of Milwaukee is proposing construction of an 80-bed memory care/assisted living
facility with services delivered from four detached buildings. An activity garden will be secured by an ornamental metal fence matching the ornamental metal fenced activity areas of each individual building.

An existing barn will be retained and used for site maintenance and garden equipment, city officials say. Officials also said that an existing produce stand will be incorporated into the overall site design, and will continue to operate via separate permit.
The meeting will be held Sep. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers in Brookfield City Hall at 2000 N. Calhoun Rd.
