Bicyclist Killed in Accident With Semi-Truck in Waukesha County
Bicyclist was 59-year-old New Berlin man, driver of the semi-truck was a 66-year-old man from Glendale.

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- A 59-year-old New Berlin man has died after police say the bicycle he was riding was struck by a semi-truck driven by a 66-year-old Glendale man.
Waukesha County Sheriff's deputies and the Pewaukee Fire Department's rescue personnel responded Monday at about 3 p.m. near the intersection of Redford Blvd. and Watertown Rd. in Waukesha County regarding an accident between a semi-truck and a bicycle.
When authorities arrived, they learned the semi-truck was traveling west on Watertown Road and was making a right turn to go north on Redford Blvd.

Police say the bicyclist was traveling west on Watertown Rd and traveled into the path of the semi-truck as it was making the right turn. The bicyclist was struck and killed, according to police.
Wisconsin State Patrol will be assisting with the truck inspection and the accident remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department. The intersection of Redford Blvd. and Watertown Rd. was closed for several hours.
