St. John Vianney toiletries drive aids two vital area outreach programs

St. John Vianney students' toiletries drive aids area families in need.

Now more than ever it seems that people are in need and St. John Vianney students are helping to fill that need by collecting new toiletries such as women’s hygiene products, deodorant, cough drops, shampoo and more, for the Milwaukee Rescue Mission and the Sojourner Truth House.

7th graders coordinated the collection drive but families from the entire school donated items. This year, an estimated 1,500 items were donated by parish and school families with the hope they will bring some comfort and much-needed help to area men, women and children.
