State fair teaches students more than facts

St. John Vianney fourth graders conducted a state fair on Wednesday, March 13th, showcasing detailed written reports and hand-made maps on each state.

Each student was responsible for a different state. In the typed reports, the students summarized several features of their state's economy, geography, industry, and other important aspects.

Each report was accompanied by a poster-sized map showing several unique aspects of the state including historical sites and tourist attractions. The maps were on display all day in the Church Hall.
