Brookfield Ameriprise Professionals Earn Advanced Industry Certifications

BROOKFIELD, Wis. – Oct. 27, 2014 – Two professionals with Ameriprise Financial in Brookfield have earned advanced financial industry certifications, both involving rigorous, extensive course work and a series of examinations.

Gary B. Dunco, CFA, CFP®, CRPC®, APMA®, financial advisor, recently earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. Dunco successfully completed the rigorous requirements that include hundreds of hours of self-directed course work and a series of three sequential examinations covering investment valuation, corporate finance, economics, portfolio management and performance measurement. Individuals who hold the internationally-recognized CFA charter also agree to uphold the CFA Institute code of ethics and standards of professional conduct.

Joshua J. Corroy, CFP®, registered operations leader, obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification. Corroy completed course work and a series of examinations covering financial planning, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. Individuals with the CFP® certification agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and uphold the Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility developed by the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards Inc.
