Brookfield Chamber 62nd Annual Meeting Held December 5, 2019

The 600+ member Brookfield Chamber of Commerce’s 62nd annual meeting was held on Thursday, December 5, 2019, sponsored by and held at DoubleTree by Hilton, Brookfield, Wis.

President & CEO, Carol White, said, “The focus of our annual meeting is to celebrate entrepreneurship and success. Pat Miller, owner of Small Step Solutions, interviewed Good City Brewing co-founder David Dupree, who shared insight from their beginnings and their growth, and some thoughts for the future. We are also pleased to award and recognize members and individuals within our organization that make a difference.”

The Board of Directors for 2019-2020 are Board Chair Matt Geik, Jamba Juice; Chair-Elect Scott Haen, Johnson Bank; Treasurer, Lynn Braden, CliftonLarsenAllen; Past Board Chair Spence Mather, State Bank of Chilton; and members-at-large Robert Feest, Robert J. Feest Insurance Agency; Pat Miller, Small Step Solutions; Jeremy Pust, Thunder Bay Grille; Robert Rausa, Home 2 Suites by Hilton; and Gjeret Stein, Ultra Scary.

The Chamber presented three awards this year. New Member of the Year award went to LeaderOne Financial and was accepted by their leader, Michael Creed. Entrepreneur of the Year award was presented to Rob Kochanski, owner of Local First Podcast.

Volunteer of the Year award was presented to Judi Murphy of Murphy Associates | Oak Hill Business Partners. Judi has gone above and beyond the role of ambassador in making certain that every new member and guest at our Business After 5 program is immediately connected with another Ambassador or New Member Engagement Partner. This program ensures that first-time attendees, be they a new member or guest, are immersed in our culture of building relationships first.

The Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce is the leading business organization representing the interests of business in Brookfield and the surrounding area. GBCC recognizes the value in creating collaborative partnerships with other chambers in Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties.
