On Nov. 24, a Milwaukee police detective was posing as a 15-year-old girl in a Yahoo romance chat room when Weber made contact and asked for pictures. The officer sent a picture to him and told him she was 15.
Weber asked if the girl wanted to meet, saying they could “feel each other in his car.”

The two chatted on several other occasions and Weber said he was afraid to do more than “kiss” the girl because of her age. Eventually they agreed to meet at a business near South 20th Street and Layton Avenue, where Weber was arrested.
A preliminary hearing was set for Dec. 19.
