Brookfield Man Charged After Altercation With Milwaukee Police Outside a Bar
Suspect tried punching a police officer after pulling another person's jacket after a tussle outside a bar.

A Brookfield man is facing charges after he allegedly tried to hit Milwaukee police officers Saturday after they broke up a bar fight in which he was involved.
Sean C. Stahl, 22, was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Sunday with misdemeanor obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct.

Police were called to a bar fight outside a tavern about closing time early Saturday morning. Officers broke up the fight, but Stahl then grabbed a person’s coat and began to pull.
An officer then told him to stop, but Stahl began to pull harder. The officer then tried to stop him, but Stahl struggled and they both fell to the ground here Stahl tried to punch the officer and refused to be handcuffed, the complaint alleges.

Stahl eventually was subdued and arrested.
He will make his initial appearance in court Tuesday.
