At 1:56 a.m. Oct. 11, a Butler police officer pulled over a car in the 4700 block of North 132nd Street and was issuing a citation to the driver when he heard Janoska shout the expletive at him. Janoska then drove off and the officer chased him.

The chase ended when Janoska pulled into a driveway in the 4500 block of North 131st Street and stayed in his truck. When the officer asked him for his driver’s license, Janoska refused, saying the officer had no right to chase him into Brookfield because he’s a Butler police officer. Janoska said he wanted a Brookfield police officer there.

He refused to step out of the truck, but the officer was able to get him out after backup arrived.

When asked why he yelled at the cop, Janoska said he was “just expressing his opinion.” He refused to take a field sobriety test.

Janoska was convicted of OWI in 1999 and 2009. He was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 17.
