Brookfield Police Looking For 2 Accused Best Buy Burglars

BROOKFIELD, WI -- Police in Brookfield say they have a photo of two men who are accused of burglarizing the Brookfield Best Buy electronics store, in addition to other Best Buy stores in the area.

According to the Brookfield Police Department, two men walked into the Best Buy on W. Bluemound Road on the afternoon of March 9 and picked up a Lenovo Yoga laptop computer, removed the security device and exited the store without paying for the item. The two suspects left in a newer-model gray Honda Accord.

Police described the first suspect as a man in his mid-20s, standing about 6-foot-3 and weighing about 240 pounds. He was last seen with black dreadlocks, wearing a dark jacket, a dark shirt with red lettering on the left side and a camo hat.

Brookfield police say the second man is also in his mid-20s, stands about 5-foot-11, weighs about 150 pounds, and was last seen wearing a two-tone green and olive-colored Nike jacket with an emblem on its left side. Police say he was also wearing a red baseball cap.

Brookfield police say the two men may have committed similar thefts at other Best Buy locations in Wisconsin on the same day.
