Brookfield Police Searching For Shrimp Nabber
Police say a Piggly Wiggly shopper used a trick to steal two bags of shrimp from the Brookfield Piggly Wiggly grocery store.
BROOKFIELD, WI — Police in Brookfield are asking for the public's help in searching for a shrimp-nabber.
On Friday, April 13 at just before 8 p.m., police say a man entered the store and concealed two bags of shrimp inside his jacket.
According to police, the same man placed numerous items at the checkout and told the clerk he forgot his wallet, leaving the store. He left the store in a silver SUV, with a Wisconsin license plate of 629-XVP.

Police are asking the public to contact Officer Faulstich at the City of Brookfield Police Department if they have any information about the person shown in the store surveillance footage.
The man is described as a black mae, about 6-feet-2-inches tall, about 60 years old and about 190 pounds.
