Brookfield Retail Theft Suspects Sought: Police

BROOKFIELD, WI — Brookfield Police are asking the public's help to locate two suspects accused of committing a retail theft at the Pick 'n Save grocery store on Capitol Drive.

On Wednesday just before 7 p.m., Brookfield Police say that two suspects entered the store and went to the liquor department where suspect where one man selected four bottles of single malt scotch whiskey, with a total value of $158.96, and placed them in a shopping cart.

Police say the man walked away from the cart when another man approached the cart and proceeded to conceal two of the four bottles in his waistband and the other two in a black bag before leaving the store.

Brookfield Police say that the first suspect is described as a black male, between 30 and 40 years old, and stands about 5-foot-10 and weighs about 200 lbs. He was caught on surveillance camera wearing a blue baseball hat, a black jacket with writing on the back, and acid wash jeans.

Police also saiy that the second suspect is described as a black male between 25 and 35 years old, about 6-foot-1, and also weighs about 200 lbs. Police say this suspect had a short Afro, facial hair, and was wearing a gray hoodie under a black jacket and black baggy pants with writing on the left pant leg.
