Brookfield Store Manager Thwarts Theft Of Over $800: Police
City of Brookfield Police are searching for three suspects in Metro Market retail theft.
BROOKFIELD, WI β Three suspects filled a shopping cart with over $800 worth of kitchenware merchandise from Metro Market and left without paying, officials said. The theft occurred July 27 at Metro Market on 12735 W. Capitol Drive and a total of $878 in merchandise was stolen, according to Brookfield Police.
A store manager confronted one of the suspects and recovered the merchandise, police said. The suspect fled to a nearby bus stop but wasn't seen getting on the bus.
Authorities don't know how the other two suspects got away and there is no known suspect vehicle.

Suspect #1 is described as a male, 5'10 and 150 pounds.
Suspect #2 is described as a male, 5'8 and 180 pounds with a dark beard.
