Central Battles Marquette in 2OT Gridiron Thriller

On a beautiful night at Wauwatosa's Hart Park, Brookfield Central held the lead during a barn burner of a game and looked like it was on its way to an upset of the Hilltoppers.

But Marquette tied the score late in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime. Both teams scored touchdowns in the first overtime.

In the second overtime, a field goal by Marquette's kicker Steve Yoss decided the game as Central failed to convert on its field goal attempt. Final score: 31-28, Marquette.

The exciting Lancers' game was the Game of the Week at WISN and ESPN Milwaukee.
