Challenge Island® Is A 2018 Parents’ Picks Award Winner

Challenge Island® Waukesha-Milwaukee location opened in New Berlin January 2018

Challenge Island®, one of the fastest growing children’s educational franchises, with 80 locations worldwide, announces that it is a 2018 Parents’ Picks Award winner. The award is in the Best Educational Products for Elementary Aged Kids category.

Challenge Island® is a cross-curricular enrichment program on the forefront of STEM and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) education and 21st Century Learning. Challenge Island Waukesha-Milwaukee opened January, 2018.

Challenge Island® Waukesha-Milwaukee owner, Andrea Davis, said, “In order to be a Parents’ Picks Award Winner, all entered products went through a rigorous approval process with over 50 criteria including thinking skills, character building, engagement, ease of use, innovativeness, quality, durability, and creative thinking.”

Challenge Island Waukesha-Milwaukee opened in February, 2018, and is led by Andrea Davis, a graduate of Concordia University-Wisconsin with a B.S. in Business and Commerce, and of Marquette University Law School with a J.D. She is also the co-founder of BidRide, a fun and easy-to-use online auction app to match riders with drivers. https://bidride.com

Davis said, “I’ve always known I wanted to own my own business. In fact, I went to law school, not to become a full-time lawyer, but to be able to better make informed decisions about the business I would one-day own.”

Davis continued, “Challenge Island® brings everything to involve parents, teachers, schools, afterschool enrichment, camps, in-school field trips, summer camps, birthday parties, family fun nights, and Girl Scouting badges.
