Cheap LEGOS? Toys R Us Liquidating Wisconsin Stores

In Wisconsin, all 10 remaining locations will close. Here's how long your gift cards are good for:

Liquidation sales are under way at Toys R Us and Babies R Us stores across the country, including 10 stores in Wisconsin. The liquidation comes a week after the struggling retailer announced it would close all of its 735 U.S. locations.

CEO David Brandon announced the possible liquidation on March 14 at the Toys R Us headquarters in New Jersey. About 33,000 workers will lose their jobs if Toys R Us closes all its U.S. stores.

"The 70-year-old chain, which filed for bankruptcy protection in September, has more than 700 remaining U.S. locations, including Babies 'R' Us stores. It would be one of the biggest retail liquidations since The Sports Authority filed for bankruptcy in 2016 with 14,500 workers and closed more than 460 stores," the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

Here's what you should know about the liquidation sales:

Can I return something I recently purchased?

Items bought at a store before its liquidation sale begins may be returned to any open store. Once a store has a liquidation sale, returns will not be accepted. Purchases made prior to store closings will be accepted per normal store policy as long as the store is open. Purchases made during the store closing process are all final at sale.

What about my gift cards and coupons?

Endless earnings will be honored until Wednesday. Gift cards are redeemable through April 12. Merchandise credits will also be honored.
