Connor Remodeling & Design Wins Three WRA Golds for Second Consecutive Year

Menomonee Falls, Wis. – For the second consecutive year, Connor Remodeling & Design has won three Gold honors in the 2014 Wisconsin Remodelers Awards, a landmark achievement in the annual Milwaukee/NARI competition among local remodeling and design companies.

Connor Remodeling & Design collected the contest’s highest honors in three categories, and won a silver award in a fourth. The scope of the award-winning work reflects its team’s ability to bring customers’ dreams to life. It’s not the first time, either - the Menomonee Falls firm demonstrated its skill, passion and versatility by winning three golds in the 2013 WRA contest.

Connor Remodeling & Design won Gold awards in these categories:
• Residential Kitchen, $30,000 to $60,000: This Sussex kitchen was reborn with a new island, cabinetry, flooring, marble countertops and double oven, all in a new traffic-friendly layout achieved in part by moving a doorway and reconstructing walls.
• Residential Bath $25,000 to $50,000: Bold colors and textures were employed to completely update this Milwaukee condo’s bathroom into a sleek, stunning work of art
• Residential Bath $25,000 to $50,000 (team award with Schmidt Custom Floors): Using mixed wall tiles and a decorative glass panel, a dark, claustrophobic shower in this Greenfield bathroom was transformed into a bright, comfortable space. Relocated sinks offer better cabinet and counter usage, while new colors add a light, natural feel to the entire area.

The silver award, for Residential Interior Element $30,000 and Over, honored a fireplace designed and built for a Mequon home with modern, chic ambiance. The Wisconsin Remodelers Awards competition is open to all Milwaukee/NARI members.
