Corners Of Brookfield 2019 Summer Events: New List

BROOKFIELD, WI — A summer movie series, food trucks, a beer garden and summer outdoor music are all coming to the Corners of Brookfield this summer.

The Silverspot Summer Movie Series will be held every Tuesday at 7 p.m. from July 16 through Aug. 27.

The free event, which draws hundreds of attendees, will feature family movie screenings on the Center’s 12-foot outdoor screen in Market Square. Films include “The LEGO Movie 2,” “How to Train Your Dragon 3,” “A Dog’s Way Home” and more. The event will also offer family-friendly activities, movie snacks and drinks.

The Traveling Food Truck Tour returns to The Corners for a second year.

The tour will feature a rotating list of food trucks and carts, craft beer tent, music and children’s activities. Dates include: June 19, July 24, Aug. 21, and Sept. 18 from 4-9 p.m.

Another returning favorite is the Corner Café: Bier Garden and Music Series.

The outdoor live music series features live music and Café Hollander beverages in Market Square from 5:30-8 p.m. every Thursday in July and August. Artists include singer-songwriter Mark Ballini and 2018 “Best of Milwaukee” alt country band The Whiskeybelles.

New this year, visitors can sweat in the sun during The Corners’ Summer Sweat Series.

Every Tuesday in June from 6-7 p.m., complimentary 60-minute workout classes from local studios will be available in Market Square.

Other summer events:

• MKE Kids at Play Summer Series will continue this year on Wednesdays in June and July from 10-11:30 a.m. with themed activities and snacks.
• Jewish Music Festival (June 20 from 6-9 p.m.) is a ticketed event featuring a live performance by the Moshav Band.
• Race for Your Reason 5k (June 29 at 8:30 a.m.) will return with a post-race “Brunch Bash.”
