The Corners Of Brookfield To Get $7 Million Upgrade
The owners of The Corners Of Brookfield say they're investing more than $7 million to upgrade the town center. Here's what they're doing:
BROOKFIELD, WI — The Corners of Brookfield is going to see more than $7 million in upgrades over the next 12 months, particularly to the town center's common areas, according to a report.
Robert Gould, Head of US Operations at IM Properties, owners of The Corners of Brookfield, said the new improvements will include:
• Digital Directional Signage which will integrate with a high-tech parking guidance system to
help guests easily find parking areas and be directed to open spots;
• Wayfinding and signage improvements throughout the shopping center;
• 2 new vertical transportation nodes including high-speed elevators serving Union Street West
and the new Theater District on Market Street;
• Traffic management improvements;
• Painting improvements in the parking garage;
• Wider sidewalks and soft and hard landscaping improvements along High Street, Market
Street and Union Street;
• Construction of a new bridge over Poplar Creek which integrates with an extension to Janacek
Rd S that is being undertaken by the Town of Brookfield; and
• Paving of a vacant lot west of Von Maur to provide additional parking.

The latest addition to The Corners is FreshFin Poke which opened July 18. Goddess & the Baker,
which was announced earlier this year, is under construction and is expected to open by October.
Silverspot theater is also under construction and on schedule to open Spring 2019.
Work on the first phase of parking guidance improvements has already begun and will be completed
in phases to minimize disruption within the town center, officials said.
