The Corners Of Brookfield To Host 2nd-Annual Tree Lighting

BROOKFIELD, WI – For the second year in a row, The Corners of Brookfield will kick off the holiday season with an illuminating celebration, in which the entire town center will be decorated 55,000 LED light bulbs, nearly 3,000 feet of lit garland, and more than 324,000 evergreen branch tips during its Lighting of The Corners on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 5-7 p.m.

Last year's first-ever Lighting of the Corners drew more than 5,000 attendees. This year, which is also free and open to the public, will feature: live music from Ocean’s 3, caroling from the Bach Chamber Choir, family photo opportunities with live reindeer, a hot cocoa bar from Café Hollander, a DIY ornament station with L.L.Bean, guest appearances from Santa and winter princesses, and the official lighting of the Center’s massive, 30-foot Christmas tree.

On Black Friday, in addition to retailer deals and activities, The Corners will host a Mother Daughter Yoga/Shopping Experience from 9-10 a.m.

Toys4Tots will bring its annual Toy Drive to The Corners on Nov. 30 from 5-10 a.m.

And, to celebrate the Hanukkah season, The Corners will host a Lighting of the Menorah on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 4 p.m.

During the holiday season, The Corners will adjust its center hours as follows:

• Wednesday, Nov. 21: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Thursday, Nov. 22 (Thanksgiving): Closed
• Friday, Nov. 23 (Black Friday): 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
• Friday, Dec. 14 and 21: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
• Saturday, Dec. 15 and 22: 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
• Sunday, Dec. 16 and 23: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Monday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve): 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Tuesday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day): Closed
• Monday, Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve): 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
