The Corners Of Brookfield Releases Fall Events List

Traveling food trucks, football watch parties, Oktoberfest and more events are coming. Here's the list:

BROOKFIELD, WI -- Summer may be coming to a close, yet The Corners of Brookfield has a full slate of seasonal events and activities on the calendar. Here are the events coming up in Brookfield:

Oktoberfest Wisconsin

Oktoberfest Wisconsin will bring its inaugural event to The Corners on Saturday, Sept. 22, with samplings of more than 25 Oktoberfest craft and German beers, plus live music, delicious food, the traditional beer hoisting contest and more.

Hosted by the team behind the popular Milwaukee Brew Fest event, Oktoberfest Wisconsin will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in The Corners’ Market Square, with an exclusive VIP tasting starting at 5 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase at www.wisconsinoktoberfest.com.

Rock The Burbs

Also in September, The Corners will host the Rock The Burbs talent competition and benefit concert with headliner the Plain White T’s on Saturday, Sept. 29. The talent competition will run from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring youth instrumental, vocal and dance performances, and the evening will close with performances by Listening Party, Abby Jeanne and the Plain White T’s from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

One $20 ticket gives entry to both the talent competition and concert, and tickets can be purchased at www.rocktheburbs.com. Proceeds will benefit the MACC Fund.

Fall Football Tailgates and Watch Parties

Throughout the fall, guests can enjoy Wisconsin football tailgates and viewing parties on the big screen in Market Square. The Corners regularly broadcasts Wisconsin sporting events on its 12 ft. x 20 ft. digital screen and will host four special tailgate parties this fall – on Sept. 15 (Wisconsin vs. BYU), Sept. 23 (Packers vs. Redskins), Oct. 6(Wisconsin vs. Nebraska) and Oct. 13 (Wisconsin vs. Michigan). In addition to watching the game, visitors can enjoy live music, special appearances by Badgers Legends, giveaways, prizes, and tailgate food from Sendik’s.

Trick-Or-Treat Times

The Corners’ fall programming will wrap up with its second annual Trick or Treat at The Corners event on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Families can travel along the “spooky candy trail,” visiting stores for treats and enjoying activities for kids and parents alike.

Other fall events at the town center include:

  • Traveling Food Truck Tour (Sept. 12, Oct. 10 – 4-9 p.m.) featuring some of the region’s best food trucks, a craft beer tent, live music, outdoor games and more.
  • K-9 Heroes Celebration Night (Sept. 14 – 5-8 p.m.) hosted by the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center to raise funds for two new K-9 police dogs. Guests will enjoy demonstrations in Market Square by local K-9 units and more.
  • Town of Brookfield Truck Day (Sept. 15 – 11 a.m.-1p.m.) hosted by the Town of Brookfield, families can explore Fire Department, Department of Public Works and Police Department vehicles, and enjoy lunch grilled by Sendik’s.
