East Bids Farewell to Class of 2012

Sunday's graduation ceremony would be the final gathering of Brookfield East's Class of 2012. As students filed into the Field House, some smiled, some cried and many were excited to finally experience graduation day.

Principal Dan Pavletich recognized Superintendent Dr. Matt Gibson, who is stepping down July , for his 17 years of leadership.

Aditya Trivedi was class valedictorian.

Class President William Seabrook had a simple message for his fellow students: "Keep forging ahead and don't forget to be awesome."
