"Believe" Contemporary Cantata at Immanuel Lutheran Church May 1st

Immanuel Lutheran Church, 13445 Hampton Rd. in Brookfield, presents "Believe," a contemporary cantata to celebrate Easter, during its two worship services on Sunday, May 1.

Featured will be a 27-voice choir, along with solos, live narration, congregational singing, plus filmed Biblical character actors on DVD, sharing their experiences of how Jesus affected their lives.

The 58-minute presentation will be held during Immanuel's 8:00 am and 10:30 am worship services on Sunday, May 1. A Celebration Cake & Coffee Reception will be held between services from 9:15 to 10:15 am.

The choir includes the "Family Singers" group, who have been active at Immanuel for many years, directed by Jay Isaacson. Joining them are special guests and family members from other choirs and churches.  "Believe" was created by Steve Moore and David T. Clydesdale, from Word Music Publishing.

Immanuel Lutheran Church is affiliated with the Lutheran Church -MissouriSynod. Founded in 1912 in Butler, the present church building was built in 1983. The school offers Christian education, beginning with three year-old pre-kindergarten classes and continuing through the eighth grade. Immanuel Lutheran Child Care is open Monday-Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm year-round, caring for children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age.
