Free Car AC Checks if Temperature Hits 90 Degrees

The first time the weather hits 90 degrees, Goodyear is offering free AC checks for the first 100 customers. Here's where:

BROOKFIELD, WI — It's bound to get hot - really hot - this summer, and the Weather.com prediction of above average temperatures this summer may be coming true.

With summer finally in full swing and hot weather ahead, the six area Goodyear Auto Service locations is helping 100 drivers in the Milwaukee area prevent a meltdown with free air conditioning checks if the temperature hits 90 degrees.

Through the “90 Degrees of Cool” promotion, the first time the temperature reaches 90 degrees at General Mitchell International Airport between July 5 and July 31, the first 100 guests who visit a participating Goodyear Auto Service location in Milwaukee will win a free air conditioning check, a $50 value.

The 90 Degrees of Cool promotion will be held at the following Goodyear Auto Service locations:

  • Milwaukee:
    • Brookfield: 12555 West North Avenue, Brookfield, Wis.
    • Brookfield: 645 Main Street, Brookfield, Wis.
    • West Bend: 2001 Parkway Dr, West Bend, Wis.
    • Glendale: 6130 North Port Washington Road, Glendale, Wis.
    • Milwaukee: 3514 South 27th Street, Milwaukee, Wis.
    • West Allis: 10757 West National Avenue, West Allis, Wis.

  • System test for cracks, leaks and damage
  • Air conditioning belt inspection
  • Assessment of electronic controls
  • Refrigerant for testing. Includes up to two pounds of refrigerant for air conditioning system checks.
