• What was the smartest thing your company did in the past year?
  • Moving our primary business from focusing on fixing technology to using our awesome skillsets in finding technology holes, and working in conjunction with current IT providers or inhouse IT to make them look like rock stars! Making other IT folks look good and keeping business safe from cyber criminals makes me feel really good!
• How many years have you been in business?
  • Nearly one year! Sensible Gurus, our technology managed service business, has been around since 2008.
• What advice can you give to struggling business owners?
  • Join a peer group, such as the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce and make friends with these people, they can be a great resource not only for referrals but also to bounce ideas and issues off of.
• As someone doing business in the metro Milwaukee area, how does the Brookfield Chamber help you?
  • The BCC is a great resource to get you in front of other like-minded small and medium-sized businesses. These folks are a great resource for getting your name out to their network.
• Do you have any advice for new business owners?
  • Don’t over extend your finances. Watch your books! Don’t spend more than you bring in! And always always always pay your employees on time.
• What would your colleagues be surprised to find out about you?
  • I am a gem-cutter, my Zen is to get an ethically-mined gemstone crystal and turn it into something sparkly and pretty!
• How long have you been a Brookfield Chamber member?
  • Six years. I'm also a member of the Chamber's board of directors.
