GMAC 2016 Golf Outing Raises $14,000 for Autism, Leukemia & Lymphoma Societies
Annual event enters second decade with another fun-filled outing for two great causes
Brookfield, Wis. – The GMAC Golf Outing entered its second decade with another well-hit long drive, raising $14,000 for two charities at its Aug. 19 outing.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin each received $7,000 from the 11th annual event, a testament to the dedication and generosity of more than 150 people who golfed, socialized and competed at Ironwood Golf Course.
The outing was again co-hosted by Grounds Maintenance Services and ActionCOACH of Elm Grove. Money was raised from sponsorships, entry fees, silent auction items, and varied contests and games. The annual event raised more than $100,000 for charity in its first decade, which capped off in 2015.
