Having been an educator for 14 years, I know that there are many ways and theories on teaching a child. No single way is better than the other! However, there is one thing that is essential to a child's growth mentally, physically, and socially, and that is getting enough physical activity. There are studies strongly correlating physical activity and a child's ability to focus. It is essential that kids get enough physical activity and Wildcard Gymnastics wants to help with that! Wildcard now offers a Homeschool CO-ED Beginner Gymnastics class during the day on Tuesdays from 10:30 -11:30 a.m. The cost is only $100 for 8 weeks and siblings get a $25 discount. We would even be willing to add another day/class time if there were families interested. Participants will learn fundamental gymnastics skills on bars, balance beam, floor, trampoline, vault, pommel horse, and rings. It's a great way to stimulate your child's cognitive growth while promoting health and fitness! Also, Wildcard Gymnastics has open gyms on Mondays and Fridays that homeschool families are more than welcome to attend. There's lots to do - bouncing, swinging, flipping and more! The cost for open gym is only $5 / child. Wildcard Gymnastics is a great place to go for a homeschool field trip. We can do a structured class, obstacle courses, open play, etc. Keep us in mind when planning your next field trip! There is more information available at www.wildcard-gymnastics.com. Please remember that physical activity is just as important to their development as learning to read and write! Wildcard Gymnastics is conveniently located at 3545 N. 127th Street in Brookfield.
