Independent Business Association of Wisconsin Hosts Gail Marquardt and Jessica Koth of the National Funeral Directors Association
The Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW) hosts “A Look Inside the Funeral Business: The Changing Dynamics in a Very Old Profession.” The program will be held on May 20, 2022, 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. at the Wisconsin Club, 900 W Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wis. A plated breakfast will be served.
Gail Marquardt, Vice President Consumer Engagement, and Jessica Koth, Director of Public Relations of the National Funeral Directors Association will give us an overview of the challenges their profession faces and how it is adapting and changing to meet the needs of their clients.
Steve Kohlmann, IBAW executive director, said, “When you say the word ‘funeral,’ people usually get quiet and avoid discussion of it. Yet, when you need to interact with these professionals, it’s a vital service helping you deal with a serious situation and to move forward. And it’s also an industry the public knows very little about.”
