River Road is CLOSED!
I took a lovely drive this morning to set up the sandwich boards for the Brookfield Village's Farmer's Market and realized that they closed River Road, and is RIGHT NOW only 1 of 3 inside-village-inlet because of the shutdown at Brookfield Road and North Avenue (Plans started for the Roundabout development 6/16/14.)Stay tuned for details. If it continues to rain this morning the likelihood of Brookfield PD considering the reopening for today's festivities close to nil. The Opening Ceremony for the Brookfield Village's Farmers Market with Mayor Ponto's lead off with the ribbon cutting and followed with musical performances by Nora Collins is the Village's Presentation of the NEWLY FINISHED lot and the celebration of our 2nd Annual Farmer's Market season. Festivities are due to start at 2pm in the new lot of the Brookfield Village:
Located at Brookfield Road and Hoffman Avenue. Current VILLAGE INLETS are from Calhoun Road and Burleigh or Capital road to Brookfield Road South.
