Knapp Chiropractic Adopts Two Local Families for the Holidays

Dr. Nicole Knapp, D.C., owner of Knapp Chiropractic & Wellness Center, Brookfield, Wis., is giving back to the community again this year. For the months of November through mid-December, the Center has adopted two local families from Safe Babies Healthy Families.

Dr. Knapp said, “I chose to adopt two families from SBHF because of what the organization stands for. SBHF is a passionate organization driven by their belief that every child deserves a chance to live a life free from abuse, neglect and poverty. This organization teaches mothers that their dreams for themselves and their children are within reach. 2020 has been a tough year, and these little ones and their moms deserve some joy in their lives.”

The first family has a three-year-old girl who needs size 6T girl’s clothing, hat, gloves, and socks (4T). The seven-year-old boy would like clothing size 8, hat, gloves, and socks. They would enjoy any age-appropriate activities for their ages. They love Paw Patrol Mighty Pup or Dino rescue toys, or original Paw Patrol Sky, Everest and Tracker. And, any Paw Patrol-themed plush animals. Mom would like flatware and dinnerware, plain white, and thick, clear glass drinkware.

The second family has a five-month-old girl who needs size 6-month clothes, baby socks, hat, music toys/learning toys, size 3 diapers, and wipes. The 18-month-old boy needs 2t or 24-month clothes, size 6 diapers, puzzles, cars, Legos, trains, and sports balls (soft). Mom needs medium leggings, sweatshirts, socks, hat, gloves, toiletries.

Dr. Knapp continues, “This is the most rewarding give-back we do each year. I don’t meet the families nor do I know their story. With the help of our patients and the community, we can help make a family’s Christmas memorable. I want to be sure that these families, and any other family we adopt, feel the spirit of Christmas and the giving nature of their community. Gifts may be dropped off at Knapp Chiropractic.”
