Kristian Nygaard Joins R.A. Smith National as Civil Engineer

Kristian Nygaard has joined R.A. Smith National — a multi-disciplined civil engineering and surveying firm — in Brookfield, Wis., as a civil engineer in the land development services division.

Nygaard recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and an emphasis on transportation. While in college, he worked as an intern for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, focusing on a highway culvert project, and identification and inspection of culverts in the Southeast Region.

Nygaard currently resides in Milwaukee, Wis.
