Latin American Scene and Cuisine at Charro
Bold and fresh cuisine menu items straight from South and Central American native recipes

Having difficulty deciding where to grab a bite to eat in the Brookfield and Elm Grove area? Don't know where to turn for a good sandwich, a scrumptious Italian dish or a fantastic fish fry? Every week the Brookfield Patch highlights a restaurant worth checking out. This week's pick:.
The interior décor at Charro Restaurant, can be described as brash and brooding, unlike any experience visitors will soon forget. From the charros of Mexico and the Haneros of Columbia, to the gauchos of Patagonian Chile and Brazil, Latin America sets the scene at this eatery.
The restaurant offers cuisine that is bold, fresh and unmistakable, with flavors as unique as the countries from which they come. Charro honors the culinary tradition by blending traditional maize, rice and bean-based dishes with artisan meals, hand-selected seafood and region-specific spices, salsa and sauces.
