National Burger Day: Wisconsin’s Best Burger; Special Deals

BROOKFIELD, WI — According to figures from the U.S. Census Bureau, there are more than 900 (902 to be exact) establishments in Wisconsin whose main menu item is hamburgers. So, on national hamburger day, you have plenty of options for your meal.

According to The Daily Meal, the best burger in Wisconsin can be found at Solly's Grille, 4629 N Port Washington Road.

Several hamburger joints are also offering special deals on Tuesday. According to a list compiled by Offers.com, burger joints, including Carl’s Jr., White Castle and Burger King have special deals to mark the unofficial holiday.

Here are some of the burger deals you can get in the metro Milwaukee area:

McDonald’s: With the 2 for $5 Mix & Match Deal (valid through May 31), get two of these items for $5: the Big Mac, Filet-O-Fish, 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or the Quarter Pounder with Cheese.

Sonic: Try the new King’s Hawaiian Burger Club for $4.99. It features a pure beef patty topped with bacon, lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese and Sonic’s Signature Sauce on a King’s Hawaiian bun.

Wendy’s: Order the new $5 Biggie Bag, which includes a Bacon Double Stack, four-piece chicken nuggets, small fries and a drink.
