Opening Day for Brookfield Portillo's is Set

BROOKFIELD -- The new Portillo's hot dog restaurant will open its first Wisconsin location in Brookfield on July 19.

According to a report from the Business Journal today, the new Wisconsin Portillo's will be located at The Corridor project in Brookfield and is part of a larger growth move employed by the restaurant chain.

As the Business Journal had reported earlier, this means that Wisconsin residents will no longer have to trek across the Illinois border to get their hands on a Portillo's hot dog.
