Photo Gallery: Brookfield Central Knocked Out of Softball Tourney

Second-seeded Homestead held Brookfield Central to five hits on Tuesday in a 9-0 win in a WIAA Division 1 sectional semifinal game at Village Park in Thiensville.

Senior Karly Haralson had two of the Lancers' five hits. Homestead broke open a close game with a four-run third inning, recording two doubles and two singles off freshman pitcher Laura Hauser.

The Lancers ended the season with a 16-7 record.
