Members of the accomplished class of 2012 received their diplomas from Brookfield Academy Sunday.
Brookfield Academy class of 2012 took the stage and their diplomas during the school's 42nd graduation ceremony Sunday afternoon. There were many tears and smiles among the graduates as they prepared to take their seats.
Nicole Bray was class Valedictorian and Melody Stier was named Salutatorian. Several awards for academic excellence as well as character were announced.
Rear Admiral Arnold Lotring was commencement speaker; Lotring is retired from the Navy and currently works at GE Healthcare.

The Upper School Chorus performed "Whenever You Remember" by Carrie Underwood after diplomas were handed out.
