Photos: Central's Homecoming Dance Celebrated with World Theme
Hundreds of students packed the gym as they danced the night away to an "Around the World" theme.
students wrapped up their 2011 homecoming week with an "Around the World" theme dance Saturday night. Landmarks and flags of various countries decorated the gym and hallway.
Gone were the traditional long dresses and "have a date or don't show up" mentality. Students arrived with both dates and groups of friends in a mix of formal and themed attire. It is practice, not policy, that upper classmen dress in theme while lower classmen dress more formally.
Aaron Darr and Shea Harris were crowned King and Queen.
