Pigtails & Crewcuts Opens In Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, WI -- Pigtails & Crewcuts, a child-friendly hair salon, is now open in Brookfield and owners say they're ready to make haircuts fun and memorable for families.

Owner Colleen Puffpaff said she is excited to bring the Pigtails & Crewcuts to Brookfield.

“When our family lived in Maryland, we took our children to the location in Annapolis and they loved it. It was a great salon with exceptional stylists, and our children really loved all the toys and games that kept them occupied before and during the haircut," she said in a statement to Patch.

Pigtails & Crewcuts has more than 50 children’s hair salons across the country, but this is the franchise’s first salon in Wisconsin.

The new Brookfield salon offers vehicle-shaped chairs, bright colors, and a variety of books, movies, toys, and video games to enjoy before, during, and after the haircut. The salon also features a retail section filled with children’s hair products, accessories, and gifts.

Colleen says Brookfield is an excellent location for Pigtails & Crewcuts, with lots of great schools and families, and feels that the salon will be a great place for families to connect and build new friendships with others in the community.

The Brookfield salon is located at 17365 W. Bluemound Road, Suite A near the intersection of W. Bluemound and N. Calhoun Roads, and is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
