Police Searching for Fraudulent Check Suspect
Police in Brookfield are searching for a female suspect who deposited a fraudulent check at an ATM on May 30.

BROOKFIELD, WI — Police in Brookfield are searching for a female suspect who deposited a fraudulent check at an ATM on May 30.
On May 30, a woman deposited an altered check into the ATM at Tri City National Bank, 12745 W. Capitol Drive. The suspect then withdrew money from her own account listed to Candace Thompson. Police believe that the next day, the same suspect deposited another altered check, however the withdrawal of money from Thompson's account was denied.
At this time, it is unknown how the checks were obtained by the suspect, both checks are from accounts from the Chicago area.

The vehicles used were a blue, unknown make, 4-dr.,and a silver, Pontiac Bonneville Any agencies with similar incidents, contact Brookfield Police.
