POP'N SPOT GOURMET POPCORN SHOP GRAND OPENING

Official Ribbon Cutting Kicks Off Weekend Long Celebration For Brookfield Business, Fundraiser To Support Hope Community Foundation

BROOKFIELD, WI – Pop’n Spot gourmet popcorn shop has announced their Grand Opening Celebration for their Brookfield store location the weekend of December 5-7. There will be free sampling of over 30 delicious flavors of popcorn, such as Cheesy Cheese, Dill Pickle, Wild Wings & Ranch, Caramel Sea Salt, Snickers, S’mores, Tooty Fruity and many more.

On Friday December 5, the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce will host an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 12 noon at the Ruby Isle store. All weekend long, Pop’n Spot will host a fundraiser to benefit Hope Community Foundation, Inc. A portion of the sale proceeds will go to Hope Community Foundation, which provides educational scholarships for needy and at-risk area youth.

In addition to the free sampling, there will be prizes and giveaways all weekend long for the customers – including grand prize drawings for a catered popcorn party and a year’s supply of gourmet popcorn. Visitors can watch as a variety of flavors of popcorn are popped and seasoned in the open-concept kitchen - all while getting holiday gift giving ideas.

Pop’n Spot is locally owned and operated by area entrepreneurs Marvin Robinson and George Schmidley, with two locations. The showcase store is located in the Ruby Isle Shopping Center, 2205 N. Calhoun Road in Brookfield; there is also a Pop’n Spot kiosk in the Brookfield Square Mall.

Specializing in gourmet flavored popcorn, Pop’n Spot also provides fundraising opportunities, corporate gifts, private parties and school outings, in addition to concession and party opportunities.
