School Report Cards Were Released Today: Here's How Elmbrook Did
Schools and districts fall into one of five categories ranging from "significantly exceeds expectations" to "fails to meet expectations."

BROOKFIELD, WI — Wisconsin 2017-18 School report cards released Tuesday by the State Department of Public Instruction show that the Elmbrook School District "Significantly Exceeds Expectations."
The District's rating score of 88.4 is the 5th highest rating score among K-12 districts in
the state, based on 2017-18 school year data. This year’s score showed continued
improvement from last year’s 86.8. Additionally, all of the district's schools received
classifications of "significantly exceeds" or "exceeds" expectations, the two highest ratings.
The report cards, evaluate Wisconsin public school districts based on students' reading and math achievement, graduation rates, attendance among other metrics.

The state DPI then weighs those metrics in order to deliver schools and districts a score from 0 to 100., Schools and districts then fall into one of five categories ranging from "significantly exceeds expectations" to "fails to meet expectations."

According to the DPI report cards, Elmbrook received 88.4 points and garnered five stars, meaning it "significantly exceeds expectations."
