Severe Thunderstorms Approaching Southeast Wisconsin
Damaging winds are the main threat, although large hail is possible along with an isolated tornado, the National Weather Service says.

WISCONSIN -- A line of thunderstorms is slowly moving through southeastern Wisconsin this evening, with rain expected to hit the Milwaukee metro area in the 7 o'clock hour, according to National Weather Service estimates.
The overall line motion is very slow to the southeast, while individual storms are moving to the northeast. Frequent lightning, periods of heavy rain, and a few instances of gusty winds up to 40 miles per hour can be expected. Thunderstorms will continue to gradually push to the southeast through the rest of the evening hours.
The National Weather Service says that heavy rainfall from the storms could produce localized flash flooding.
There is a marginal risk for severe weather. Damaging winds are the main threat, although large hail is possible along with an isolated tornado.
