Shrub Snatchers Wanted by Brookfield Police
Police are searching for two shrub snatchers after they made off with shrubs and flowering trees that they dug up themselves overnight.
BROOKFIELD, WI — Brookfield City police are on the lookout for two shrub snatchers after the unseemly suspects made off with numerous shrubs and flowering trees — but not before they had to dig them up themselves in an early morning heist.
On March 27, between 01:53 a.m. and 03:44 a.m., two suspects dug up and stole twelve arborvitae trees and two 2 other flowering trees from a business in the 14100 block of Greenfield Avenue near the Tsang Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Center.
One supect was described as a male, white or Hispanic, with average height and build. The second suspect was determined to be the driver with an unknown description.

The suspects' vehicle is a newer model light colored SUV, possibly an Audi or Porsche, towing a small utility trailer. Any agencies with similar cases, contact the City of Brookfield Police Department.
