What was the smartest thing your company did in the past year? We rolled out a comprehensive LinkedIn initiative covering all of our client-facing personnel.

How many years have you been in business? Securant Bank is currently enjoying its 103rd year in business.

What advice can you give to struggling business owners? Communicate, collaborate, and correlate. Odds are that you know someone that has been down this road before you. Talk to people, gather input and perspective and use what applies to take action. Don’t be afraid to ask.

As someone doing business in the metro Milwaukee area, how does the Brookfield Chamber help you? You do business with people that you know, like and trust and the Brookfield Chamber is ALL about the people. With almost 600 business members, I have gotten to know great people in every industry that enhance my professional and personal circles.

Do you have any advice for new business owners? Build a good team right from the start. Find an accountant, attorney, insurance agent and banker that understand your business and aspirations. Then get out there and network, network, network!

What would your colleagues be surprised to find out about you? I have participated in many Competitive Eating Challenges over the years and most recently accomplished the Carolina Reaper Challenge.

How long have you been a Brookfield Chamber member? September will mark 15 terrific years for me.
